Privacy & submissions.

Lincoln Events is an independent local events directory developed by BPALS. For privacy requests, corrections, removal requests or questions, contact us through bpals.uk, identifying Lincoln Events and any submission reference.

What we collect

We collect the event details, organiser name, email and optional poster you choose to submit, so we can review, contact you about and manage a listing. If you sign in, we associate your platform account ID with your submissions so you can view them. Your email and account ID are not published.

How it is used

Approved event details and authorised artwork may appear publicly. Unapproved submissions remain private. We process submissions to provide the directory service and use moderation to help prevent spam. You can request access, correction or removal through the contact route above. We keep records while reviewing or maintaining a listing and review retention when an event has passed or a removal request is received. We do not add submitters to marketing lists.

Storage and services

The site uses hosted website and storage services to operate the directory. Optional sign-in uses the hosting platform’s authentication. We do not add advertising trackers or analytics cookies. External ticket outlets and venue sites apply their own policies when you follow their links.

Submitting events

Submit accurate details for lawful events relevant to Lincoln. You must be authorised to share the content and artwork. By submitting, you permit Lincoln Events to display and format the content for the listing. We may reject, edit, archive or remove spam, misleading information, unsafe material or unsuitable content. Submitting does not guarantee publication, social promotion, ticket sales or attendance.

Independent listings & bookings

Some listings are compiled from public organiser information, with a link to the source. Venue pages are free directory spaces and do not imply endorsement, partnership or that a venue has claimed the page. Venue representatives can request corrections or removal. Always confirm dates, access, age restrictions, prices and availability directly. Tickets and refunds are managed by the organiser or ticket outlet, not Lincoln Events.
